Apple unveiled its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is three refreshed versions of existing models and the all-new iPhone Air, that replaces the iPhone Plus. If waiting in line on release day is not your style, and you still want to secure one right away, you will be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19 release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after a long wait (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, the new A19 chip is quicker and more energy-efficient, especially when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a significant increase in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.
Camera wise, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and more refined.
If you're upgrading to the iPhone 17, the good news is that there are already lots of cases available, thanks to retailers like Campad Electronics, which has listed a wide range of cases this page for all iPhone 17 models. This ensures you can pick the right case to go with your new iPhone 17, with a multitude of styles, materials & price points to choose from – making it simple to find a case that fits your budget and style.
